How market data, charts, alerts and sign-in are working.

Data state

BigTape covers U.S.-listed stocks and ETFs. Trade history starts in January 2016, or on a ticker's first covered day if later.

If more than one applies, the chip shows the first one listed.

SAMPLE DATA: Sample data. These trades and prices are generated for demonstration. They are not real market data.
Unavailable: We have nothing to show here. One line says why: a ticker isn't covered yet, its history is still loading, part of our data is down, or your plan doesn't include it.
Stale: Updates have stopped. This is the last data received, with the time of the last update beside it. BigTape catches up on its own when data returns.
Replay: You're replaying a past session. Everything shows only what was known at the replay clock. Alerts and Since you last looked are paused until you go back to the latest data.
Delayed 15 min: Market data delayed 15 minutes. Updating now. Each data point is at least 15 minutes old.
Live: Real-time data, updating now. BigTape shows Live only when data is real-time and arriving normally, and never beside delayed data. Real-time display requires a license that BigTape does not hold yet. Until it does, market data is delayed on every plan.
No unusual activity: Data is current, and nothing met the threshold.

Working: Everything is running as expected.
Slow: Running slower than usual. Data and alerts may arrive late.
Interrupted: Updates have stopped. Charts show the last data received, marked Stale.
Down: Not available right now. We're working on it.
Maintenance: Planned work from a start time to an end time, both shown in Eastern time.
